Join us and Michael T. Keating is a Deputy District Attorney with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office as we learned about Workman’s Comp Fraud Protections From Fines & Penalties and how we can protect or companies and organizations.

Michael T. Keating is a Deputy District Attorney with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Keating is assigned to the Special Prosecutions Region, Financial Crimes Unit: Insurance Fraud Team, where he mainly prosecutes felony cases involving applicant, provider, and premium fraud in the Workers’ Compensation field.  Mr. Keating also prosecutes felony cases involving auto insurance fraud, major fraud, welfare fraud, and major elder abuse.

Prior to working at the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Keating worked for several years in civil litigation where he primarily handled city, county, state, and federal administrative matters, as well as personal injury and business litigation cases in both federal and state courts.

Mr. Keating has been a licensed attorney since 2009.  He received his juris doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where he was enrolled in the two-year accelerated SCALE program.  Mr. Keating has a master’s degree in History from Claremont Graduate University and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Oregon, where he received a bachelor’s degree in History. 

This meeting has been approved for recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). It has been recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.”
