Mastering Worker Compensation Business Bureau: Classifications, Inspections & Dispute Resolutions

The Desert Communities EAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping California businesses informed on workforce laws and human resource issues.  We are an event partner with the Employment Development Department.

 In this informative session, attendees will gain a better understanding of how Workers' Compensation operates in California and how the WCIRB can serve as a valuable resource for employers.

Attendees will learn:

• Overview of the WCIRB and its role in California Workers' Compensation

• The difference between test audits and classification inspections

• Explanation of the X-Mod and the factors that impact it

• Understanding the Classification system

• The dispute process with the Policyholder Ombudsman
